are from different backgrounds and of different ages, but we have fun working together for the benefit of the library. Becoming a Friend is not a major time commitment as we meet quarterly
unless we are working on a fundraising project. We are always looking for new people with different viewpoints in how best to serve the community by raising money to provide books and
programs for all.

Need something to read, watch, or listen to? Need a cookbook to browse through? How about getting some children’s books for your kids? Visit the Friends of the Artesia Library Book Store in the library whenever the library is open. We have a wide selection of used fiction and nonfiction books as well as CDs and DVDs. They are priced to move at $1 per hardback, $.50 per paperback, and $1 per disc for CDs and DVDs. If you have books, DVDs, or CDs that are in good shape you are welcome to bring them to the library to donate them to the Friends.
